The Challenge Leadership Program
The Challenge Leadership Program is an interactive opportunity for leaders and emerging leaders to learn from one another and be inspired and motivated to pursue a lifetime of excellence. Together they will gain an understanding of successful leadership behaviors and discover the incredible power of teamwork through thought provoking and FUN activities. In addition to experiencing an inspiring day, the goal of the workshop is for the student participants to translate their new discoveries into everyday behaviors which have a positive and measurable impact on the entire school! The Challenge Leadership Format:Designed for a maximum of 80 high school or middle school students or a combination of both, the workshop can be 3 to 6 hours in length and is presented at school or a nearby facility. A customized program can also be designed to work with the specific needs and budget constraints of your particular school. How the Program Works:First, select a day for the Challenge Program to be presented to your students. Second, teachers, sponsors, guidance counselors and school administrators identify a core group of potential student leaders to participate in the program. These students are often identified as having leadership potential from their roles as club officers, student council members, athletic team leaders, student government leaders, class officers, cheerleaders or top academic achievers. Students can represent several grade levels or just one. (ie The Sophomore Challenge Leadership Workshop) Finally, arrange where the program is to take place. The program can be presented at your school or, preferably, off campus. A local meeting room (community center, church fellowship hall, banquet facility, service organization meeting room or country club) away from the school facility and away from the typical daily routine is ideal. One day with Ted Wiese . . . Leadership Skills to Last a Lifetime!The Day of the Program:Watch the students get emersed in the powerful and dynamic program that will leave them ready and willing to accept the responsibilities of leadership. During the program, the students work together in teams allowing each participant to quickly broaden his/her base of friends and develop a sense of unity that extends well beyond the day. Teams participate in a variety of hands-on activities that emphasize leadership, teamwork, self-confidence, taking action, communication and responsibility.
